The magnefect nano II DUO is a full-featured, fully flexible, easy-to-handle, fast and efficient cell transfection device which comes with twice the transfection throughput capacity as the magnefect nano II.

The magnefect-nano-II-DUO system has

  • Full control over software parameters (oscillation frequency, displacement, cycles, time).

The magnefect-nano-II-DUO system comes in two parts

  • The magnefect-nano-II-DUO sample holder which is an extended version of magnefect-nano-II magnet array sample holder with twice the multi-well array capacity. It comes supplied with 2 x 6-well or 2 x 24-well or 2 x 96 well magnet arrays, with these magnet arrays being fully interchangeable (6-well, 24-well and / or 96-well), on which standard multi-well plates can used. The sample holder may be placed in a cell incubator during transfection to maintain the normal cell culture environment.
  • The magnefect-nano-II controller unit which supplies power to the magnefect-nano-II-DUO magnet array sample holder to oscillate the magnet arrays as well as providing capability to define user protocols (e.g. oscillating frequency, oscillating time, oscillating displacement). The magnefect-nano-II controller unit can also be used to provide power to a magnefect-nano-II sample holder.

The magnefect-nano-II-DUO comes provided with 2 x 6-well or 2 x 24-well OR 2 x 96-well magnet arrays. These magnet arrays are fully interchangeable allowing user flexibility with possibility to run 2 x multi well plates in any configuration / combination (i.e. 2 x 6 well, 2 x 24 well, 2 x 96 well, 1 x 96 well with 1 x 24 well, 1 x 6 well with 1 x 24 well, 1 x 96 well with 1 x 6 well).

Additional magnet arrays and magnet array sample holders can be purchased as required.
